Artist of the Week: Celebrate Usher's New Album "Coming Home" with iHeartRadio!
Usher is back with a brand new album just days before he takes the stage at the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show -- and iHeartRadio is celebrating!
"Coming Home" is his first new album since 2016, and iHeartRadio ran a week-long national World Premiere campaign to celebrate the star's new music. Beginning February 5, iHeartRadio’s network of 177 Hip Hop, R&B, CHR and Rhythm CHR stations launched promos counting down to the album release on Friday, February 9.
On the morning of February 8, 111 CHR and Rhythm CHR iHeartRadio stations featured a “mini mix” highlighting Usher’s biggest hits, and at midnight local time on February 9, all iHeartRadio CHR, Rhythm CHR, Hip Hop and R&B stations played the album in its entirety.
On release day, iHeartRadio’s entire network of 66 Hip Hop and R&B stations ran a 25-minute produced takeover featuring five new tracks from “Coming Home”: "Ruin," "Kissing Strangers," "Bop" "Stone Kold Freak" and "Keep on Dancin'," with an optional sixth track titled "Good Good."
The "Feature Five" takeover also included custom audio from Usher walking fans through the making of the album and inspiration behind the music.
Catch Usher's new music playing on iHeartRadio stations nationwide all weekend, and stream his entire catalog anytime on the iHeartRadio app and iHeart.com.
