“Disgraceland” Is Back With Its Fifth Season of Music-Filled, Sometimes Murderous Untold Stories!

Can’t get enough of music of the future, present or past? And are you quietly obsessed with true crime, too?  If you answered ‘yes’ to these questions, you’ve probably heard about iHeartRadio’s tantalizing podcast, “Disgraceland.” The show dives into it all: murder, infidelity, suicide, arson, overdose, religious cults, drug trafficking and the music behind it all. “Disgraceland” explores the alleged true crime antics and criminal connections of the musicians we love. And today, the podcast is launching its fifth season.

This explosive music and true crime podcast has returned with a brilliant and alluring episode on one of world’s favorite rock bands, Guns N’ Roses. Part one of this two-episode series will be distributed through the iHeartPodcast Network today and can be heard now on the iHeartRadio App—or wherever else podcasts are available. The second episode of this series will be available on March 17, with new episodes to follow bi-weekly through the end of the season.

Hosted by Jake Brennan, this season of Disgraceland will offer listeners the usual audio salad of crime, grime and scandalous storytelling from the glittery stage of the music industry and larger than life musicians like Jay Z, Prince and Run-D.M.C. In a recent press release, Brennan discussed his decision to dive into the story behind a band like Guns N’ Roses, saying:

“It’s hard to find a band more representative of the rock star lifestyle than Guns N’ Roses and even harder to find a rockstar that best demonstrates the tension between separating the art from ‘the artist’ than Axl Rose. Axl’s behavior, some of it violent, is well-publicized however, the singer’s demons run deep and ultimately led to one of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll records of all time.”
