iHeartRadio Celebrates National Radio Day

Today we’re proud to celebrate National Radio Day and the great relationship radio has with its listeners! Not just a source of music and news, radio also has the ability to unite communities through local fundraisers like toy and food drives, partnerships with small businesses, fun community events, and of course live concerts with your favorite artists.

Radio’s impact on its communities has evolved through the years alongside our listening habits. Not too long ago, AM / FM was the only way to listen to radio, but with the advent of digital platforms radio has become more accessible than ever before — now you can hear thousands of stations from all over the country via iHeartRadio using your computer, your phone, or even your Xbox. Pretty amazing when you stop and think about all the places you can connect with your favorite stations, huh?
