#NewMusicTuesday: Drake “Nice for What” Music Video
Leave it to Drake to give his fans exactly what they want! Just when listeners were getting antsy waiting for a true follow-up album to his 2016 record Views, the rapper released his Scary Hours EP, including hit tracks "Diplomatic Immunity" and "God's Plan." Now, days after promising that he was going back to his hometown of Toronto to finish his album, Drake dropped a music video for his brand new song, “Nice for What.” Drake knows how to keep music lovers on their toes, and we can’t wait for his next move!
The “Nice for What” music video is a perfect example of name dropping at its finest, with celebrities making appearances left and right. Keep an eye out for Tiffany Haddish, Zoe Saldana, Olivia Wilde, Black Panther’s Letitia Write, Rashida Jones, Emma Roberts, Misty Copeland, Syd, Tracee Ellis Ross from Black-ish, Michelle Rodriguez and Issa Rae from Insecure while you watch! Always creative in his approach, Drake also samples “Ex Factor” a song from Lauryn Hill’s 1999 album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, in “Nice for What,” which creates a unique sound. It’s catchy, and we know you’ll have it on loop for the foreseeable future!
Stay tuned for Drake’s new album, and keep your ears perked for any other surprises that he might throw our way! In the meantime, listen to all his other music on iHeartRadio!
