Rewind 2025 with iHeartRadio’s Top Artists and Songs of the Year

It’s time for iHeartRewind – our annual list of iHeart’s most played artists and songs of the year! Before we head into 2026, let’s celebrate the music that defined 2025 and had fans hitting repeat across the country.

For the second year in a row, Sabrina Carpenter claimed the top artist spot, racking up more than 2.7 billion total audience spins (TAS). She was followed closely by SZA and Kendrick Lamar, while The Weeknd, Bruno Mars and Morgan Wallen each surpassed 2 billion TAS. Other artists who made the Top 10 included Lady Gaga, Benson Boone, Post Malone and Shaboozey.

Taking a look at specific songs, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With A Smile” dominated the charts with over 1.1 billion TAS. Kendrick Lamar & SZA’s “luther” and Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” also defined the year’s sound, showing just how powerful collaborations and breakout hits were in 2025.

Across genres, pop fans tuned in the most for Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and SZA, while Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll led country. Hip-Hop was dominated by GloRilla and Kendrick Lamar; alternative fans gravitated toward Linkin Park and Green Day; and R&B listeners turned up the volume for Chris Brown and Usher.
