Station of the Week: The Weeknd Celebrates Another Massive Year!
Canadian-born Abel Makkonen Tesfaye — known to most as the prolific pop singer-songwriter, The Weeknd — has had a successful career thus far. His 2013 debut studio album Kiss Land was positively received by critics, and his 2015 LP “Beauty Behind The Madness” became the No. 1 album on the US Billboard 200 chart, including No. 1 singles “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face.” The songs simultaneously held top spots on the Billboard R&B charts, making Tesfaye the first artist in history to achieve this feat.

Now, The Weeknd is about embark on a world tour this winter, kicking off in Sweden in February.
