Artist of the Week: Big Time Rush Joins iHeartRadio Music Festival Daytime Stage!

The Daytime Stage at the annual iHeartRadio Music Festival just got a big addition. Joining the already start-studded event is Big Time Rush – the recently-reunited boy band that will have fans dancing non-stop!

Big Time Rush joins the lineup featuring previously-announced artists like Avril Lavigne, 5 Seconds of Summer, Lauv, Chlöe, Willow, Chase Rice, Latto, Carly Pearce, GAYLE and Lauren Spencer-Smith.

The band, made up of Carlos PenaVega, James Maslow, Logan Henderson and Kendall Schmidt, first got together in 2009 through the Nickelodeon show the band is named after. They had a string of hits and successes, including a nationwide tour in which One Direction opened for them. 

Big Time Rush first split up in 2013 before announcing their return with new music and new tour dates late last year. We’re thrilled they’re making the iHeartRadio Music Festival part of their big reunion!

The iHeartRadio Music Festival will take over Las Vegas on September 23rd and September 24th, with The Daytime Stage starting at 11 a.m. PT on the 24th. Along with performances at The Daytime Stage, fans will also be able to participate in fan zones and interactive experiences hosted by iHeartRadio's brand partners. The full 2022 iHeartRadio Music Festival will be streamed via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. In addition to attending or streaming the experience, viewers can watch via an exclusive national television broadcast special on The CW Network at a later date, as well.
