Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with “My Cultura Conversations: Our Voices, Our Stories, Our Experiences”

As Hispanic Heritage Month draws to a close, iHeartMedia’s My Cultura Podcast Network is celebrating Latinidad with a wide-ranging conversation featuring Wilmer Valderrama and other Latinx trailblazers. 

“My Cultura Conversations: Our Voices, Our Stories, Our Experiences” gathers Valderrama and “CSI Miami” actor Adam Rodriguez, “Encanto” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actress Stephanie Beatriz and “Overcomfort” podcast host Jenicka Lopez for a heartfelt and insightful conversation on their heritages and what Latinidad means to them. While the foursome all descend from different corners of Latin America – ranging from Colombia, and Bolivia to Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and Cuba – all of them feel the same connection to each other through their shared cultures. 

Throughout the talk, the group shares a meal as they recount memories of growing up in Latin households; their experiences with learning and not learning Spanish; and how they ended up choosing their career paths. They also talk about the importance of traditions; better representation in the entertainment industry and beyond; and what advice they have for the next generation of Latinos.
