Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with My Cultura on iHeartRadio
Recent research from iHeartMedia and Collage Group, "New American Consumer: Bicultural Latinos," spotlights a powerful and growing force in American culture: Bicultural Latinos. Identifying as equally American and Hispanic, this group now represents nearly 40% of the U.S. Latino population, and the connection to their heritage is only deepening. In fact, 78% say they feel more connected to their heritage today than they did just a year ago.
For many, that connection goes beyond language. Nearly 90% of Bicultural Latinos typically consume audio content in English, even as one in three prefer Spanish for music or radio. Language is one way culture travels, but real connection comes from shared values, lived experiences and hearing your own story reflected back to you.
Those are the stories that come to life every day on the My Cultura Podcast Network. Since 2021, My Cultura has given Latino creators a place to show up as themselves, with more than 60 shows, including “Dos Amigos,” “Hungry for History,” "Suite 305 with Lele Pons," "Life in Spanglish," "Gracias, Come Again: A Podcast by Honey German" and "Soul Searching with Chiquis."
